Main innovative elements of the project

  • To communicate the importance of volunteering as a learning environment

  • To increase the senior volunteers’ participation in volunteering activities as it is a way to strengthen their inner self, to raise their self- esteem and to gain competences, in particular key competences for lifelong learning. The 8 key competences give adults more flexibility to adapt in an increasingly interconnected world.
